A. It’s a convenient place to put the board game and it’s closer to the snacks.

A. Chess and checkers are the old games that people still play a lot.  Backgammon, Scrabble, and Monopoly are also really popular.  Recently Apples to Apples and Cursed are new popular games.

Q. How do you play a really long game?
A. A lot of people like Monopoly and Risk, but don’t play it because it takes too long.  The simple answer is that there are faster ways to play that reduce the time greatly.  The instructions for each game explain the play variations to alleviate the problem.
